Silent Night program – FOTONA NightLase® Twinlight 2D treatment (3 occasions) 970 Euro
The FOTONA NightLase® is a quick, soft laser treatment without surgical intervention, with which the sleeping quality of the patient may be improved. This treatment lessens the nocturnal apnoea with the use of the superficial Er:YAG laser beam, as well as moderates or completely terminates snoring.
The treatment is almost completely painless, we do not use anaesthesia. The patient may experience throat ache on the day after the treatment. The laser light warms up the mucosal membrane around the soft palate and the pharynx. These contract, and as a result the snoring sound lessens and the sleeping apnoea may come to end.
The complete FOTONA NightLase® cure consists of 3 individual treatments over 6 weeks. The therapy may be repeated if necessary.
There is no need to wear any kind of supplementary device during sleep, and the use of chemicals is unnecessary. The therapy is a safe, effective and simple way for the patient to get back the relaxing night-time sleep and not to disturb his/her surrounding.
Duration of the treatment: approx. 20 minutes
Contraindications: expressly strong pharyngeal reflex, lockjaw, and the administration of medication causing photosensitivity
Prior to the treatment we recommend the performation of an oto-rhino-laryngology examination of the patient, in order to exclude other alterations that may cause snoring or sleep apnoea.
